Country Sausage Gravy

  • 1/2 pound breakfast sausage
  • 3 tbs flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
DIRECTIONS
  1. Brown our sausage
  2. Sprinkle with half of flour and stir around to pick up grease
  3. Add remaining flour and stir....flour should have cleaned up the grease & coated flour
  4. Add milk and continue to cook as it thickens 5-10 minutes
  5. Add the salt & pepper
  6. If sauce thickens too much add extra milk until its the desired consistency
