Cranberry Cake

INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 1 hour at 350F
- 1/2 cup soft butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cup self-rising flour
- 1 (8 oz) sour cream
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1 (16 oz can) whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Grease and flour 10" tube pan
- Cream butter and sugar
- Add eggs and beat well
- Add flour alternately with sour cream, mixing well each time
- Add almond extract
- Pour 1/3 of the batter into the pan
- Spread 1/2 can of cranberry sauce over the batter
- pour 1/3 of batter over the sauce
- reserve 3 tablespoons of the cranberry sauce and the rest over the batter
- Finish by pouring the remaining batter into the pan evenly
- Sprinkle the top with pecans
- bake for 1 hour at 350F
- For Glaze:
- Mix 3/4 cup powdered sugar with reserved cranberry sauce.
- Pour over the cake wile still warm
