Cream Cheese Danish
  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 2 8 oz pkg cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  1. Layer 1 can of crescent rolls on the bottom of 13" x 9" pan.
  2. Beat together remaining ingredients; pour over rolls.
  3. Top with the other can of crescent rolls and bake at 350 F for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Icing
  5. Mix 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
  6. 1 tsp vanilla
  7. Milk to thin to a medium consistency
  8. Pour over danish when removed from the oven.
My stepmom fixes this for us when we are visiting. She makes it the night before and the refrigerates it overnight. She finally shared the recipe. I also spray my pan with non-stick spray because the first time I made them they were sticking. Another note: I found if you stretch the cresent roll dough a bit before putting on top it does better without making a mess of the filling. Cut into big triangles and serve!
