Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 l/2 cup confect. sugar
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 TBSP fresh lemon juice
  1. Beat well adding more milk or confectioners sugar to make it smooth and easy to spread. Spread over cake and run a fork lengthwise across the icing to make it like the A&P Spanish Bar Cakes.
