Cream Cheese Frosting
INGREDIENTS
- 2 ounces cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/4 cup confectioner’s sugar (or slightly more depending on consistency)
DIRECTIONS
- Mix the cream cheese and butter in the bowl of an electric mixer. Mix on low speed until combined.
- Add the confectioners’ sugar and mix on medium until desired consistency. (about 1 minute) If consistency is not as desired, add more confectioners sugar in small amounts until reached.
- Frost immediately and store cupcakes in the refrigerator until ready to eat, and then set out for about 15 minutes before serving.
