Cream of Asparagus Soup

  • 4 cups of chopped asparagus
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cook asparagus over medium heat until tender
  2. Drain leaving 1 cup of liquid
  3. Saute onion in butter until tender
  4. Stir in flour,salt and pepper
  5. Stir in milk,reserved liquid and bouillon and cook until thickened
  6. Add asparagus and mix together
