Creamed Lima Beans
  • 16 ounces frozen baby Lima beans
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  1. Cook the Lima beans in boiling salted water as directed on package. I sometimes add about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of sugar to the cooking water.
  2. Drain well. Add the cream and butter. Taste and add salt and pepper as desired. Heat thoroughly. Serve hot
