Cresent Roll Cheesecake
  • 3 - 8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tube cresent rolls
  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees
  2. Unroll cresent rolls and press intlo the bottom only of a 9x13 pan to form crust
  3. In a bowl mix cream cheese, sour cream and sugar until smooth
  4. add vanilla and mix
  5. Add eggs one at a time beating after each one
  6. Pour batter over cresent roll crust
  7. Place in center rack of oven and bake 40 minutes DO NOT REMOVE from oven but turn oven OFF and OPEN the door slightly Leave in oven 1 hour
  8. Remove from oven cool completely
  9. Top with favorite fruit, pie filling or serve plain. I like to refrigerate it until it's cold and the topping sets some before serving.
I got this recipe in 1974 from a friend at work. It is easy and very tasty
