Cristel's favorite Cherry Jello

  • 1 large box black cherry jello
  • 1 can pitted black cherries – drained but juice reserved
  • 1 8oz unsweetened heavy whipping cream
  • 1 8 oz sweetened heavy whipping cream
  1. Make jello according to directions less 1/2 cup water – you can also substitute some of the cherry juice for the water
  2. Whip 1 container cream but do not add sugar
  3. When jello is slightly firm, fold in whipping cream and cherries
  4. Pour into jello mold or baking dish
  5. Serve with sweetened whipping cream
This is kind of a family joke, it is Cristel’s favorite jello, but she can’t make it – or at least that’s what she claims – I think it is may be a case of her being crafty enough to get the rest of us to just make it for her!
