Crock Pot Roast
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 Pot Roast (rump or lean chuck) about 3 to 4 lbs.
  • 4 or 5 large peeled potatos cubed
  • 1/2 lb baby carrots
  • 1 onion cubed
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 1 packet italian seasoning
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
DIRECTIONS
  1. Place roast in the crock pot.
  2. Add water til there is about 1/2 in on the bottom.
  3. Place potatos, carrots, and onion around the edge of the roast.
  4. Sprinkle packets of ranch, italian, and brown gravy mix on top.
  5. Cover and turn on high heat. Let sit for at least 5-6 hours.
RECIPE BACKSTORY
So quick and easy.... I would throw it in the crock pot before I left for work in the morning and it would be ready when I got home. The smell when you walk in the door is amazing.
