Crockpot Chicken Parmigiana
  • 3 whole chicken breasts
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup Italian style dry bread crumbs
  • 1 1/4 cups butter (or less)
  • 10 1/2 oz. can pizza sauce
  • 6 slices mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  1. Cut chicken breasts into halves. In a bowl, beat egg, salt and pepper; Dip chicken in egg, then coat with bread crumbs. In large skillet, saute chicken in butter. Arrange chicken in crockpot, and pour pizza sauce on top. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Add mozzarella cheese, and sprinkle parmesan cheese on top. Cover and cook 15 more minutes.
