Crockpot V-8 Stew
INGREDIENTS
- Servings: 4-5
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- Dash of pepper
- 1 to 2 lbs. stew meat
- 1 can V-8
- 1 can water (1 1/4 c.)
- Onion, chopped (to taste)
- 1/4 tsp. dried basil, crushed
- 1/2 tsp Tony's seasoning
- 4 med. potatoes, pared & cubed
- 3 med. carrots, cut in 1 inch pieces
- 1/4 c. dry red cooking wine
DIRECTIONS
- Mix V-8, water, basil, salt, pepper and onion in crockpot. Add meat, potatoes, and carrots. Cook on high for about 6 to 8 hours. Makes about 4 to 5 servings.
