Crockpot V-8 Stew
INGREDIENTS
  • Servings: 4-5
  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1 to 2 lbs. stew meat
  • 1 can V-8
  • 1 can water (1 1/4 c.)
  • Onion, chopped (to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp. dried basil, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp Tony's seasoning
  • 4 med. potatoes, pared & cubed
  • 3 med. carrots, cut in 1 inch pieces
  • 1/4 c. dry red cooking wine
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix V-8, water, basil, salt, pepper and onion in crockpot. Add meat, potatoes, and carrots. Cook on high for about 6 to 8 hours. Makes about 4 to 5 servings.
