Curry Shrimp

INGREDIENTS
  • Servings: 3 to 4
  • 1 lb 13-15 count Shrimp (can use smaller ones if you like)
  • Wesson oil to cover the bottom of a 12 inch frying pan
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • thinly sliced onion
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon of curry powder (more if you like)
  • black pepper
  • garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
DIRECTIONS
  1. Pour Wesson oil to cover the bottom of a 12 inch frying pan.
  2. When hot put in shrimp.
  3. hen opaque turn and add 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt. Add thinly sliced onion to the pan.
  4. Saute 2-3 minutes then add 3/4 cup water, 1 teaspoon of curry powder (more if you like), black pepper, garlic powder and sprinkle with 1/2 cup bread crumbs.
  5. Serve over rice.
