Danielle's Hungarian Red Cabbage
INGREDIENTS

- 1 medium red cabbage, thinly shredded
- 3/4 c sugar
- 3/4 c canola oil
- 1 c cider vinegar
- 1 t caraway seeds
- 2 t salt
- 1 t pepper
DIRECTIONS
- Place all ingredients in stockpot, mixing thoroughly
- Place on medium heat until mixture comes to a simmer
- Lower heat and partially cover pot with lid
- Cook until cabbage is tender crisp, about 35 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally
