Danny Zelman's Frog Eye Salad

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3/4 cups pineapple juice
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 pound Acini di Pepe, pasta
  • 3 11 ounce cans mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 9 ounce cool whip
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix salt and sugar. Add pineapple juice and eggs. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly. Add lemon juice. Cool until room temperature. Cook pasta and drain. Combine with sauce, and remaining ingredients. Chill overnight.
