Date Loaf Candy

  • Cooking Time: 25 minutes
  • Servings: 12-14 servings
  • 3C Sugar
  • 1C Milk
  • 1C Dates (chopped)
  • 1C Pecans or Walnuts
  • 1tsp Butter
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cook sugar, butter and milk to a soft boil. Take off stove and stir in dates and nuts. Stir until too stiff to stir. Pour out on a wet dishcloth that has been sprinkled with powdered sugar. Roll into a loaf. Let stand until cool. Slice in 1/4 inch slices.
