Dee's Super Easy Microwave taters

  • 5 medium potatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons of Fresh chopped parsley
  1. Peel your 5 potatoes, and then chunk them into 1/2 to 3/4 inch cubes.
  2. Place them into a microwave safe bowl. We use a 2.5 liter corningware dish WITH a lid
  3. Peel and slice the onion into thin "1/2 moon" slices and place in the bowl with the potatoes. Mix them with the taters.
  4. cut your 1/2 stick of butter into thin slices, and mix them into the bowl with the taters and onions
  5. sprinkle your salt and pepper into the bowl, add your parsley and mix to coat
  6. Microwave on high for 5 - 6 minutes.
  7. Take the bowl out, and stir everything, then put it back in for another 5 - 6 minutes
  8. Take out of the microwave, remove the lid and let it sit a few minutes. Stir once more before serving
Potatoes and onions go together well, and with a little salt, pepper and parsley, it comes together perfectly. Add in the fact that it only needs 10 - 12 minutes in the nuker, and it's a quick, easy addition.
