Delicious And Easy Chicken Marsala
INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. rosemary
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 chicken breast halves
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 8 oz. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 cup marsala wine
- 1/3 cup sherry
DIRECTIONS
- In a freezer/storage bag, combine flour and herbs. Add chicken breasts to bag and coat with flour mixture.
- In a large skillet, melt EVOO and butter together, over medium heat. Add minced garlic, and then add chicken pieces. Brown chicken on one side (2-3 minutes), then flip over. Add sliced mushrooms and wine. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 15 minutes. Flip chicken 1 or two times during simmer.
