Deviled Swiss Steak

  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 pounds round steak, 1" thick
  • 1 cup carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup onions, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups canned tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • salt
  • pepper
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine mustard and flour; pound into steak. Season with salt and pepper. Melt butter in a large saucepan and brown steaks on both sides. Add remaining ingredients, cover, simmer 2 hours.
