Dill Pickle Dip

  • 1 6 oz tub whipped cream cheese (reduced fat is fine)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle relish, drained
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Dill weed for garnish
  1. Blend cream cheese and sour cream until smooth with no lumps. Add relish, garlic powder and salt. Mix well. Taste and add more salt if you desire a stronger flavor. The salt seems to bring out the flavor. Sprinkle with dill weed for garnish. Refrigerate until ready to use
Dill Pickle Dip is a grocery store staple in my husband's native British Columbia. He was shocked to learn it wasn't stocked down here. He LOVES it so I came up with this recipe to satisfy his craving.
