Doo-Wop Fudge Cake
INGREDIENTS
  • Cooking Time: 60-65 minutes
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 (16 oz) ready-made fudge frosting
  • 2 cups walnuts, chopped
  • Chocolate glaze:
  • 3 Tbs cocoa
  • 2 Tbs melted butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 or 3 Tbs hot water
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat over to 350 F
  2. Grease and flour 9- or 10-inch bundt pan
  3. Cream butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer on high speed
  4. Add eggs to the bowl one at a time
  5. Gradually beat in sugar and continue creaming until light and fluffy
  6. Stir in by hand, flour, fudge frosting, and walnuts until well blended
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan
  8. Bake for 60-65 minutes
  9. Cool in pan for 2 hours before removing
  10. Drizzle with cholate glaze
  11. Chocolate glaze: combine all ingredients in a bowl and beat by hand until smooth.
