Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 10
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup sour cream
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups miniature chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Spray baking sheets with cooking spay.
- Cream shortening and sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
- Beat in eggs, sour crean and vanilla.
- Sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt on waxed paper.
- Add to bowl; mix well.
- Stir chocolate chips into bowl; do not overmix.
- Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets, 2 inches apart.
- Bake cookies until puffed, about 10 minutes; cool on baking sheets.
- Place on wire racks to cool completely.
