Double Chocolate Treasures

  • 1 (12 oz) pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup margarine or butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups uncooked oatmeal
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
DIRECTIONS
  1. Melt 1 cup of the chocolate chips in saucepan; stir until smooth and cool slightly. Beat together the butter and sugar until fluffy; blend in eggs, vanilla and melted chocolate.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients (except for powdered sugar) in a separate bowl; add to the chocolate mixture. Stir in the remaining chocolate chips. Shape the dough into 1" balls and roll in powdered sugar. Place on a pan lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
