Dutch Apple Cake

  • 1 pkg. spice cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 c. butter, softened
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 1 teas. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
DIRECTIONS
  1. In large bowl, combine dry cake mix, melted butter and eggs; blend well.
  2. Spread on bottom of 13" x 9" pan.
  3. Spoon pie filling evenly over batter.
  4. In small bowl combine brown sugar and cinnamon; cut in softened butter.
  5. Stir in nuts and sprinkle over pie filling.
  6. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes or until cake springs back when touched lightly.
