EASY AUTUMN SOUP

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 (16 oz.) can of tomatoes with juice
  • 1 bag frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup macaroni, optional
DIRECTIONS
  1. Brown the ground beef in a large dutch oven.
  2. Add soup mix and water.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, then simmer for 1/2 hour.
  5. Makes 8 bowls of soup.

RECIPE BACKSTORY
This is very tasty and easy. I tend to use less ground meat or I double the recipe if I use the entire amount of meat.
