EASY BAKED CUSTARD

  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups milk, Scalded
  • 1 tsp vanilla
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a double boiler, combine eggs, sugar and salt. Slowly stir in slightly cooled milk and vanilla. Pour into six 5-ounce custard cups. Set cups in a shallow pan. Pour hot water around them 1-inch deep. Bake at 325°F for 40-50 minutes until knife inserted off-center
