Easy Apple Dumplings

  • Preparation Time: 10 minutes
  • 8 granny Smith apples
  • 2 cans biscuits or croissants
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 and a half sticks butter
  • 1 can of sprite
  • 1tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  1. Peel and quarter apples.
  2. Lay out biscuits or croissants.
  3. Put one quarter into dough and fold it to close.
  4. Continue until every Apple is made into a dumpling.
  5. Spray a 13x9 dish with cooking spray.
  6. Line dumplings into pan.
  7. In a bowl combine both sugars.
  8. Sprinkle over dumplings
  9. Take the sprite and pour around the dumplings.
  10. Cut the butter over each dumpling.
  11. Add salt and cinnamon.
  12. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes or until golden brown and apples can be poked through by a fork.
This is something I make every Thanksgiving and Christmas. My whole family enjoys them.
