Easy Black Forest Torte
INGREDIENTS
  • Cooking Time: 60
  • 4 to 5 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 pkg. (18 1/4 oz) chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling, keeping out 1 tablespoon
  • 1 carton (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
DIRECTIONS
  1. Sprinkle marshmallows in a greased 13x9" baking pan.
  2. Prepare cake batter according to package directions.
  3. Pour over marshmallows.
  4. Spoon pie filling over batter.
  5. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
  6. Cool.
  7. Frost with whipped topping.
  8. Take remaining 1 tablespoon of pie filling an place in center of frosted cake.
  9. Store in refrigerator.
