Easy Candied Cherry Bars

  • BARS:
  • 20 oz. pkg. refrigerated sugar cookies
  • 1/2 cup candied red cherries, halved
  • 1/2 cup candied green cherries, halved
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • FROSTING:
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 2-3 tsp. milk
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Cut cookie dough into 1/4" slices.
  3. Place in ungreased 15x10" baking pan; press slices together to cover bottom of pan.
  4. Top with fruit and nuts, pressing lightly into dough.
  5. Bake 13-20 minutes or until light brown.
  6. Cool completely.
  7. In small bowl, combine powdered sugar, vanilla and enough milk for desired drizzling consistency; blend until smooth.
  8. Drizzle over bars.
  9. Cut into bars.
  10. 48 bars.
