Easy Grilled Asparagus
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • olive oil
  • about 1 tbl. fresh lemon juice
  1. Snap the asparagus at it's tender point. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle garlic, salt and pepper over spears. mix gently with hands to coat spears with oil.
  2. put on hot grill and turn occasionally for 5-10 minutes depending on thickness of spears. They should be crisp-tender when done and lightly charred. I like to put them in a serving container and cover with foil until ready to eat.
  3. Squeeze a small amount of lemon juice over spears just before serving.
I recently discovered that I actually like asparagus, and this seems to be my favorite preparation thus far.
