Easy Peanut-butter Brownies

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 6 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 25 miniature peanut-butter cups, cut in half
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine butter, sugar and eggs; mix until well blended.
  2. Add chocolate and mix well.
  3. Combine dry ingredients; add to chocolate mixture, mixing well.
  4. Stir in vanilla and nuts.
  5. Spread in Bakers Edge pan lightly sprayed with non-stick spray.
  6. Sprinkle with peanut-butter cup pieces.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
  8. Cool, drizzle with peanut-butter sauce and cut into bars.
  9. Peanut-butter sauce: Heat 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter in microwave, stir in 1/8 cup powdered sugar.
