Easy Rustic Fruit Tart
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 25-30 minutes

- Preparation Time: 3 minutes
- 1 pkg. refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 21 oz. can fruit pie filling
- 1/2 tsp. citrus zest
- egg wash
- sugar
- Good fruit filling/citrus zest combos: Apple/Lemon, Peach/Lemon, Cherry/Orange, Blueberry/ Lemon or Orange
DIRECTIONS
- Pre-heat oven to 350
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Unroll one pie crust on baking sheet
- Pour can of pie filling into center of pie crust, leaving a 1 1/4" (or so) border
- Sprinkle zest over filling
- Fold pie crust up and over edges of filling, pleating
- Brush egg wash over crust
- Sprinkle with sugar
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown, rotating sheet to evenly cook
