Easy overnight french toast casserole

- 1 Loaf French bread, 1 1/2" slices
- 1 stick butter
- 3/4 c brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c milk
- 4 eggs
- 2 T vanilla
DIRECTIONS
- melt butter and add brown sugar to saucepan simmer until sugar is dissolved
- layer bread in 9x12 casserole dish
- beat eggs, then add vanilla and milk and pour mixture over bread
- spread butter and sugar mixture over bread
- cover with foil and put in fridge overnight
- next morning, preheat oven to 350
- put in covered dish for 30 min
- uncover dish and cook for another 30-45 minutes or until tops of bread is crusty and egg is set.
