Egg Nog

- 6 egg yolks
- ¼ cup sugar
- 5 cup milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 6 egg whites
- ¼ cup sugar
- ground nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
- In a small mixer bowl and beat egg yolks till blended.
- Gradually add ¼ cup sugar, beating at a high speed till thick and lemon colored.
- Stir in milk, vanilla, and salt.
- Chill thoroughly.
- Whip cream, wash beaters well.
- In a large bowl beat egg whites till soft peak forms.
- Gradually add remaining ¼ cup sugar, beating till stiff peak forms.
- Fold yolk mixture and whipped cream into egg white mixture and serve immediately.
- Garnish with nutmeg
