Egg Nog
INGREDIENTS
  • 6 egg yolks
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 5 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 6 egg whites
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ground nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a small mixer bowl and beat egg yolks till blended.
  2. Gradually add ¼ cup sugar, beating at a high speed till thick and lemon colored.
  3. Stir in milk, vanilla, and salt.
  4. Chill thoroughly.
  5. Whip cream, wash beaters well.
  6. In a large bowl beat egg whites till soft peak forms.
  7. Gradually add remaining ¼ cup sugar, beating till stiff peak forms.
  8. Fold yolk mixture and whipped cream into egg white mixture and serve immediately.
  9. Garnish with nutmeg
