Egg-less Cake
  • 1cup milk
  • 1cup sugar
  • 2cups flour
  • ½cup shortening
  • ¼tsp salt
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • ½tsp baking soda
  • 1tsp cinnamon
  • 1tsp allspice
  • 1tsp nutmeg
  1. Cream sugar and shortening. Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking soda, baking powder, salt, and spices. Add alternately with milk to first mixture. Beat thoroughly. Pour into well greased loaf pan. Bake in moderate oven at 375 degrees for about 45-50min.
This is another cake from my great grandmother. This is a great recipe for those who can't eat eggs or don't like to use eggs. I hope you like it.
