Eggnog Cookies

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 ¼ cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 ¼ cups sugar
  • ¾ cups butter softened
  • ½ cup eggnog
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • Icing:
  • 3 cups confectioner’ s sugar
  • ¼ cup butter – softened
  • 1/3 cup eggnog
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  2. Mix well with wire whisk and set aside.
  3. Cream sugar and butter with electric mixer until it forms a grainy paste.
  4. Add eggnog, vanilla, and egg yolks to the butter & sugar mixture.
  5. Beat together on medium speed until smooth.
  6. Add flour mixture & beat on low speed until combined.
  7. Do not over mix!
  8. Drop by rounded teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet.
  9. Bake at 300* for 20 minutes.
