Elaine Mazur's Christmas Fudge

  • 1 tall can carnation milk
  • 4 1/2 Cups white sugar
  • 1/2 LB soft butter
  • 1 TBS vanilla
  • dash of salt
  • 1 pint marshmallow cream
  • 3 pkgs 18 oz chocolate chips (I like to add at least 1 pkg dark choco chips. Try other chips too like peanut butter, butterscotch ect )
  • 2 cups finely chopped nuts
  1. Bring milk and sugar to a boil then boil for 10 mins
  2. Remove from heat
  3. Then add remaining ingredients one at a time
  4. Stir well after each ingredient
  5. Pour into greased pan
  6. As it starts to thicken cut into small squares
My Grandmother's Christmas fudge recipe. Of course you can eat it any day but she always made sure to make a batch for Christmas.
