Eli Läuchli’s Elderberry Sirop
  • Cooking Time: 5-10 minutes
  • Preparation Time: All day
  • 15 branches elderberry blossom
  • 3 quarts water
  • 6-1/2 lbs sugar
  • 30 gm. zitronensäure (citric acid)
  1. Add water and sugar to elderberry blossoms.
  2. Let sit in sun all day.
  3. Cook above for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Then take out branches.
  5. Add 30 gm. Zitronensäure.
  6. Bottle and serve with water.
