Feta Cheese Slaw

  • 2(8 & 1/2oz bags) angel hair cole slaw
  • 5 green onions chopped
  • 2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3/4 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp fresh groung black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning(I used Cavendars' Greek)
  • 8 oz Feta Cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup water
  1. Toss cabbage with green onions & set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, slowly whisk oil into vinegar.
  3. Add water,garlic,salt,pepper and Italian seasoning together and whisk until well blended.
  4. Toss cabbage & onion with prepared dressing and Feta cheese.
  5. Cover & refrigerate 15 min. or longer to allow flavors to develop.
  6. I halved this recipe since there are only 2 of us and it turned out well. LS
I really don't remeber where I got this recipes from .I probably found it on the internet. There is a local restaurant here in Birmingham , Alabama that serves a similar salad named Zoe's. But I love feta cheese and olive oil and vineagar in a salad dressing.
