Firecracker brownies
INGREDIENTS
- Servings: 16
- FIRECRACKER BROWNIES-stolen from another site
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
- Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 8 or 9-inch square baking pan.
- Combine butter, sugar and vanilla in medium bowl.
- Add eggs; beat well with spoon.
- Stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until well blended.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Spread batter evenly in prepared pan.
- Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.
- Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
- Cut into bars.
- About 16 brownies.
- I frosted it with a tub of milk chocolate frosting.
