Firecracker brownies
INGREDIENTS

  • FIRECRACKER BROWNIES-stolen from another site
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 8 or 9-inch square baking pan.
  2. Combine butter, sugar and vanilla in medium bowl.
  3. Add eggs; beat well with spoon.
  4. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until well blended.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan.
  7. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.
  8. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
  9. Cut into bars.
  10. About 16 brownies.
  11. I frosted it with a tub of milk chocolate frosting.
