Flatbread Honey Wheat Bread
  • 2 packages yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-1/2 cup milk
  • 3 cups wheat flour
  • 3 to 4 cups bread flour
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  1. Dissolve yeast in water. In large mixing bout combine butter, honey, eggs, salt, milk and yeast. Stir to blend. Add wheat flour and stir in. Mix in enough bread flour to make a soft dough.
  2. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl and cover with a clean towel. Let rise 1 hour. Punch down dough, and turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Divide into 2 pieces. Shape loaves and place in greased pans. Let rise 40 min. Bake at 375 for 40 min.
