Fresh Apple Cake
INGREDIENTS
- 2 c sugar
- 2 1/2 c flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 c oil
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 c diced apples (can leave peel on)
- 1 c chopped walnuts
- 1 (6 oz) bag butterscotch morsels
DIRECTIONS
- Mix all ingredients except apples, nuts & morsels; fold in apples and nuts.
- Pour into greased 9x13 pan.
- Spring morsels over top of cake.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
- Better if covered with saran wrap and served the next day.
- If you can't wait, it's good served warm with a dip of vanilla ice cream
