Friday Night Sausage Balls
  • Cooking Time: 20-45 minutes
  • Servings: about 3 dozen
  • Preparation Time: 30 minutes
  • 1lb. Hot sausage
  • Small jar Cheese Whiz
  • 1/2 C. milk
  • 3 C. Bisquick
  1. Mix all ingredients in large mixing bowl adding bisquick 1 cup at a time. Place in fridge for 15 minutes to cool dough- helps make rolling into balls easier. Roll into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Cook in 400 degree oven for 15-20 minutes or until light brown on the outside. Leave remaining sausage balls on the cookie sheet and place in the freezer. When hard place in a freezer bag and save. Serve with dijon mustard.
  2. To heat frozen balls remove from freezer and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Pre-heat oven to 375 and cook 30-45 minutes. Keep an eye on them.
Every Friday night my mom would make this appetizer to preceed dad making his Chef Boyardee pizza in a box. Love the sausage balls.
