Fried Morel Mushrooms

  1. First wash and clean the morels
  2. Then mix flower and a little bit of salt and pepper in a bowl.
  3. After that pour milk into a separate bowl and add a few egg's if you would like to thicken the coat around the mushroom.
  4. Once the mushroom has been coated it is then placed into the bowl of flower and coated.
  5. The mushroom is the moved to the fryer full of vegetable oil. It is cooked on the fryer until it looks done.
Morel mushrooms have been my favorite mushrooms for many years now. They naturally grow in the spring season in the midwest portion of the United States. This recipe is the way that my parents have cooked the mushroom. I will probably also cook them this way.
