Fruit pudding

  • Cooking Time: Freeze the pudding for at least 6 hours
  • Servings: 8
  • Preparation Time: 20 mins
  • 2 loafs of angel food cake, you can bake a cake at home (any flavor would taste delicious) or can get ready made from the store
  • Fruits (any fruits of your preference), I usually add bananas, apples, blueberries and strawberries and sometimes kiwi or oranges
  • 1 box of Cool whip,
  • Vanilla ice cream,
  • Choco chips and any other chocolate you prefer for decoration
DIRECTIONS
  1. Method: Apply little butter on bottom of the serving plate that you will be using.
  2. Mix vanilla ice cream and cool whip cream.
  3. Dip the angel food cake in the vanilla ice cream and cool whip mixture. Arrange it in the serving tray.
  4. Then add chopped fruits and chocolate pieces of your choice on top of it. (I added bananas, apples,blueberries and strawberries and chocolate chips and M and M's). You can also add chopped nuts like walnut or almonds if you like.
  5. Add cool whip and vanilla ice cream mixture on top of it.
  6. Layer it with chopped fruits again and then add cool whip layer on top of it.
  7. Decorate it according to your choice
RECIPE BACKSTORY
I have learned this recipe back home in India. I learned it during my school days. I always remember my country when I make this dessert in the US.
