  • Fresh Green Coriander leaves 1 cup, cleaned and washed
  • Green chilli 2
  • Onion 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Garlic 2
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  1. Blend all the ingredeints in a mixer until smooth, add 1 tbsp water if required.
  2. This chutney can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days, but it tastes best when fresh.
  3. It can be had as a spread in sandwiches or as a dip with fritters.
This Green Coriander chutney is again a very popular and versatile chutney, you would normally find this chutney in every household, you can actually consider this as the ketchup of India, but the difference being it is made up of herbs instead of tomatoes. There are million recipe versions of this chutney, but I found this one as a perfect kick to enliven any meal.
