Garlic Rice
  • 2 (14 oz.) cans ready to serve chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1-2/3 cups water
  • 3 cups long grain white rice
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  1. Combine broth and water in a 4 cup glass measuring cup and microwave on high until very hot, about 5 minutes. Spray 3-1/2 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Combine rice, onion, garlic powder and pepper in slow cooker and mix to combine. Pour hot broth mixture over and cover crockpot. Cook on high for 1-1/2 to 2 hours, until rice is tender. Stir and serve. 12 servings
