Garlic prawns spanish

INGREDIENTS
  • 350-450g (12oz or 1lb) large raw prawns
  • 2 red chillies
  • 75ml (5 tbsp) olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • salt and ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS
  1. Remove the heads and shells from the prawns, leaving the tails intact. Halve each chilli lengthways and discard the seeds. Heat the oil in a flameproof pan, suitable for serving. (Alternatively, use a frying pan and have a warmed serving dish ready in the oven.)
  2. Add all the prawns, chilli and garlic to the pan and cook over a high heat for about 3 minutes, stirring until the prawns turn pink. Season lightly with salt and pepper and serve immediately
