German Apple Cake

  • 1/2 C margarine
  • 1 1/4 C granulated sugar
  • 2 C flour
  • 2 Tsp baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 C milk
  • 2-3 apples
  • Cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat oven to 350
  2. Grease 9 x 9 pan
  3. Beat margarine and sugar until creamy
  4. Add eggs, flour, vanilla, milk and baking powder, beat until smooth
  5. Core and cut apples into thin slices
  6. Pour ingredients into pan and arrange apples on top
  7. Sprinkle with cinnamon
  8. Bake 35-40 mins
