German Apple Cake

- 1/2 C margarine
- 1 1/4 C granulated sugar
- 2 C flour
- 2 Tsp baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 C milk
- 2-3 apples
- Cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
- Heat oven to 350
- Grease 9 x 9 pan
- Beat margarine and sugar until creamy
- Add eggs, flour, vanilla, milk and baking powder, beat until smooth
- Core and cut apples into thin slices
- Pour ingredients into pan and arrange apples on top
- Sprinkle with cinnamon
- Bake 35-40 mins
