German Coleslaw

  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 quarts chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 tblsps. minced onion
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cook bacon until crisp and golden brown; add lemon juice
  2. and salt; stir well. Mix with mayonnaise; pour over
  3. combined
  4. vegetables and mix well. Chill.
